Sjors Haverkamp: I started working in the European High Yield asset class in 2000 as an investment analyst, and since 2008 as a fund manager.
e-fundresearch.com: What are the main steps in your investment process and in which area is your competitive edge to add value to investors?
Sjors Haverkamp: Our process has a very strong focus on security selection, the bottom up part of the investment process. Our point of attention is not only on avoiding credit losses but our team is also able to identify improving credit stories. The latter gives additional return for our assets under management.

Sjors Haverkamp: The benchmark of the fund is the Merrill Lynch European Currency High Yield; 3% issuer capped; ex sub-financials. The additional performance that our Fund generates over its benchmark is (one of) the best in the industry.
