Weina has more than 5 years' investment industry experience having previously worked as an equity research associate at UBS, conducting financial statement analysis on office, industrial, and mortgage REITs. Prior to this she worked as an equity research analyst at LaSalle Investment Management, covering mall and shopping center REITs. Weina was also a quantitative credit risk consultant at Deloitte & Touche, where she provided credit risk management services and recommendations to major banks and financial institutions.
This appointment will allow the team to continue to increase the depth and breadth of its coverage. It illustrates the continued momentum behind the Global Property Securities team at a time when strong interest is being shown in the asset class.
The Global Property Securities team now has a total of 12 team members with an average of over 12 years’ investment experience. The team currently has more than £2.4 billion (€2.8 billion) of funds under management.
